Moreover, these artisans are adept at navigating around obstructions that would stymie less skilled hands. Whether it's an ancient tree whose roots have claimed dominion over a portion of land, or boulders that add rugged charm but present logistical challenges, nothing is too daunting for Crum Lynne's custom cutters.

The beauty of this service lies in its bespoke nature. Each project is approached as a singular masterpiece, shaped by the idiosyncrasies of both land and client vision. The result? A harmonious blend where functionality meets aesthetic splendor—slopes tamed into lush terraces, obstacles transformed into features enhancing overall design.

We cannot say enough concerning Philz Landscape. One call and I connected with Pat. He met with us for a project which entailed removal of a partial cinder block porch with iron poles and remodeled an entire porch. We are pleased with the work performed. We found found that Pat was a man of his word and committed to pleasing us with minor finishes. I would highly recommend this company. Sincerely, Ricky and Donna L Jones

Angi provided me with several contractors, I received estimates but chose Philz Landscaping (even after coming in higher) because he satisfied with his estimate and start date our fervent desire to complete the project before winter set in. Alex, Javier set the example of professionalism in setting up the area to remove fencing and gate, installed vinyl fence with double gate (assisted by Carlos), removed all debris, left my yard spotless and we are extremely satisfied with the new fence and gate. Questions we had were answered (Helena, Phil) promptly and Alex, Javier went above and beyond ensuring my wife’s concerns were taken care of; I want again to Thank the team at Philz Landscaping and recommend highly to perform your project.

Had Phil and his workers come by my house to work on the backyard in May this year. Eliminate weeds, regrade soil and replant grass seed. 158 feet worth of backyard which he estimated $1600 to do. There was a hiccup with his office and scheduling and he wasn't even aware of the set date in mid-May. He rescheduled for the week after and took off $100 for inconvenience. His crew shows up and does the job and weeks after, grass grew....but not fully in corners of the yard. I called him back, voicemail immediately. Got in touch with his office and they said they would pass the message. His response times are atrocious and I told him about the patches in the grass. He says "no problem I'll send guys to evaluate and re-seed". They show up and do the job again. By mid-July, weeds are growing in very strong and grass is dying at exceedingly high rate despite me watering. I called him back and he says "that's odd, I'll come by this afternoon or tomorrow" in September when I finally get a hold of him. He never shows up or responds to texts or further calls. The photos below are post-lawn work with visible patches and weeds. I had to spend additional monies on top soil, grass seed and water to correct the loss of 50% of the lawn!! If you want an overpriced job not done right, Phil is your guy!!

Philz Landscaping built 2 patios on my property. One is flagstone and the other is pavers with a retaining wall. Both are absolutely beautiful. Working with Phil and his team has been a great experience. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliability, quality, and reasonable pricing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Custom cutting allows for each fence panel or picket to be tailored to the contour of the land. This ensures that the fence maintains a consistent height and aesthetic appeal while accommodating the natural slope of the ground.
Installers may use techniques such as angling or curving fence panels, trimming pickets individually to fit around obstacles, or creating custom-shaped panels that provide clearance for trees or rocks while maintaining the integrity and appearance of the fence line.
Local building codes and zoning ordinances may dictate certain requirements regarding fence height, setback from property lines, and other factors that could influence how a fence is installed on slopes or around obstacles. Its important to consult with local authorities before installation.
Consider a contractors experience with similar terrain challenges, their familiarity with local regulations, their portfolio of previous work, customer reviews, and their ability to provide clear communication about how they will address your specific needs during wood fence installation.
